Are You Interested In make an underwater map work in Fortnite Season 3
Fortnite Season 3 is just over a week off, and rumors are swirling about exactly what it can bring. It appears to be all but confirmed that a flooding will overtake the map, which includes fans equally exciting and stressed.
An underwater map may be amazing or it might be awful. Swimming in Fortnite is notoriously annoying and inconsistent. All-water zones would be the worst, and we can’t imagine a map that’s entirely comprised of their water physics from Seasons 1 and 2 2.
A Fortnite map that’s entirely underwater and forces players to float all the time will probably be a disaster. It would change the game much too much, and many players would most likely be turned off after a couple of weeks — and of course all the bugs that would likely arise from this particular mechanic.
That’s why we’re predicting something different. We watched a post on Reddit from u/JjGuyy0 that perfectly exemplifies what we believe will happen when Season 3 comes out.
Rather than swimming and floating beneath the water, we’re predicting what JjGuyy0 calls,”SpongeBob physics.” Even when the crossover doesn’t happen, his presence could be sensed through the gameplay.
Instead, the submerged portion of the map will behave like the normal map as is true in SpongeBob. Players will sink to the bottom and utilize new water-based vehicles to maneuver around.
We heard rumors of a shark car, but the specifics from JjGuyy0 are just speculation.
In our opinion,”SpongeBob physics” is the only real method to make an underwater Fortnite map work. It will change little besides the aesthetics of this map, which will be a perfect breath of fresh air to get the community. Let us hope that we’re right.
